“If there is a tablet you may take that can scale back your all-cause mortality by 50%, you may give it to your entire household, and it is free, everybody’s going to take that tablet,” says Kelly. It seems, that “tablet” exists—it is strolling 8,000 steps a day1. “The analysis could be very clear that when individuals stroll simply 8,000 steps1, they get the lion’s share of advantages. Not 10,000 steps. Not 12,000 [steps]… 8,000 steps,” Kelly provides.
