The PFS price for providers offered in HOPDs (the speed for facility settings) is usually smaller than for providers offered in freestanding doctor workplaces (the speed for nonfacility settings), which displays the truth that HOPDs cowl many bills in any other case incurred by clinicians in freestanding workplaces and are reimbursed for these prices underneath the OPPS.
