Virgin Atlantic Cargo has confirmed the appointment of ECS Group, through its subsidiary TCE, as its new General Sales & Service Agent (GSSA) in continental Europe.
Implementation of the deal will start from later this year in a phased approach. Initial representation will cover exports from the Netherlands, Denmark and Italy and representation will then be expanded to all 14 countries across Continental Europe.

Virgin Atlantic confirmed in July it would end its service to Shanghai in October due to increased costs as a result of not being able to fly over Russia.
Earlier in the year, Virgin Atlantic Cargo invested in expanding its online booking capabilities by placing its capacity on WebCargo.
