Silk Way West Airlines, a leading cargo airline in the Caspian and Central Asian regions, has been appointed as the Global Air Cargo Partner for the COP29 summit, set to take place in Baku in November 2024. This partnership aligns with the airline’s dedication to sustainability and underscores Azerbaijan’s declaration of 2024 as the Year of Solidarity for a Green World.

Through this collaboration, Silk Way West Airlines will facilitate the efficient transport of essential materials for the climate conference. The airline’s fleet renewal plan, aimed at significantly reducing emissions, will introduce eight new aircraft by 2030, including Boeing 777F, Boeing 777-8F, and Airbus A350F models, solidifying its role in advancing green logistics solutions.
