Michael Berger, chief executive of ATSG, will join the 30th Cargo Facts Symposium to discuss the freighter market during a fireside chat at the Omni Hotel in San Diego on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 10 a.m. PDT (GMT -5).
The symposium takes place Oct. 14-16 at the Omni.
Cargo Facts Symposium has been the premiere event for the freighter aircraft industry for three decades, gathering industry leaders to share their insights with stakeholders and attendees, providing in-depth analysis of the air cargo sector and enabling participants to expand their network with respected executives and decision-makers.

ATSG appointed Berger as chief executive in June. He joined the group in 2018 and previously served as chief strategy officer and president. Prior to joining ATSG, Berger held senior management positions at TNT Europe, DHL and Airborne Express.
ATSG announced in May that it had extended its deal with Amazon for another five years. As part of the deal, the group’s subsidiary carrier, ABX Air, will also operate ten 767-300Fs on behalf of the e-commerce giant. Two of those aircraft were reassigned to ABX at the end of June.
The deal extension may at least partially offset the return of ten older 767-200Fs to ATSG by Amazon and will aid the group’s recovery from a weak performance in 2023 that led to former CEO Rich Corrado’s replacement by interim CEO Joe Hete in November.
Meanwhile, ATSG’s leasing subsidiary, CAM, continues to secure 767-300F lease deals with carriers outside the United States, such as My Freighter in Uzbekistan.
