Washington State College’s Viticulture and Enology division will host a two-day symposium on sustainable wine manufacturing, new applied sciences and local weather resilience on Might 9 and 10.
The occasion, entitled “Tomorrow’s Classic,” might be held at WSU’s Tri-Cities campus and have visiting audio system from Washington, California, Australia and New Zealand. Subjects embody drought adaptation, carbon seize in winery soils, wastewater administration, pomace upcycling and sensor expertise for sustainability.
The symposium is a part of the Ravenholt Lecture Collection, which is supported by an endowment from Albert Ravenholt, a pioneer within the Washington wine business and founding father of Sagemoor Vineyards.
