On April 8, the Washington State Division of Agriculture signed a memorandum of understanding with Vietnam’s agriculture minister to strengthen agricultural commerce, growth and analysis between the 2 areas.
The signing kicked off a Washington state commerce mission held April 8–12 in Vietnam, which is the fifth largest export marketplace for Washington apples, in keeping with the Washington Apple Fee. Delegates represented the state’s apple, cherry, wine, hay and wheat industries.
