Dodol – If you’re in Marawi it’s essential to attempt dodol, a candy rice toffee.
The Farm Grill Marawi (https://maps.app.goo.gl/jGZ2T36dFiBvWePo9) – The spotlight of our time in Marawi, Philippines was going to The Farm Grill for a grilled king tilapia, cooked in a wealthy coconut milk and palapa (Inaloban a Isda). It was lifechanging!

As a Meranao, I truly appreciate your coming to Marawi. BUT, you should have tried BIYARING (ground raw tiny shrimps) with lots of green chillis and marinaut, PUSAN (Fermented tiny fish), BYANSOL (smoked seasoned fish), KARAE (Cooked Taro Stems), SULABAY (Rice cake porridge), NITIB (Coffee mixed with rice or corn powder), APANG (Rice Pancake), and TAPAY (fermented rice/cassava traditionally eaten with coconut milk and roasted shredded coconut). You missed half of your life haha There are lots of delicious Meranao dishes. You should hire me as your tourist guide next time LOL 😂
