Scientists from Plant & Meals Analysis have been working with companions on the Southern Horticultural Analysis Institute in Viet Nam during the last decade on a joint dragon fruit breeding programme and have developed three new varieties. VentureFruitâ„¢ has joined the collaboration with unique international commercialisation rights to the primary three varieties from the programme. Dr Satish Kumar chats to Scigest host Erin Stroud about his work within the dragon fruit breeding programme and the way a decade of analysis resulted in a brand new horizon for dragon fruit. The brand new varieties provide interesting fruit traits whereas addressing a few of the main pest and illness challenges confronted by dragon fruit growers in Viet Nam.
