The fruit and produce markets of Port Vila in Vanuatu, Pacific Ocean – the markets of Port Vila in Vanuatu. Let’s go to one of the vital scenic fruit and produce markets within the Pacific Ocean, the market of Vanuatu’s’ capital, the town of Port Vila. The full of life markets in Port-Vila in Vanuatu supply an enormous array of produce, starting from native vegetables and fruit—yams, coconuts, pawpaw—to handicrafts and souvenirs resembling carvings, jewellery and clothes. Housed in a big, lined space, the markets in Port-Vila in Vanuatu are open 24 hours a day, besides Saturday afternoons and Sundays. Many stalls on the markets in Port-Vila in Vanuatu are run by ladies from native villages, who spend every week or two at a time in Port-Vila promoting their wares. Put collectively a waterside picnic with a number of the tropical fruit and ready gadgets from the meals stalls.
Port Vila is the harborside capital and foremost hub of Vanuatu, on Efate island. Its small downtown is residence to colourful market stalls promoting produce and native handicrafts. The Nationwide Museum of Vanuatu, contained in the Vanuatu Cultural Centre, shows artifacts resembling slit-gong drums and outrigger canoes. The city is a base for diving and journeys to Mele Cascades, a multi-tiered waterfall with rock swimming pools in a rainforest.

Thanks, Vic! We love food markets and have been to quite a few via your videos as we cook our way around the world from our home kitchen. We are going alphabetically, so we recently saw you in Uruguay 🙂 We hope you are doing well and see you around the planet!
vanuatu is a cannibalistic and poor country. and is a country that supports terrorist and separatist acts. many youtube videos have been reported for discussing this terrorist-supporting country.

You have a precious way of saying…. cucumbers…that market is amazing…as is this documentary.. thanks..Vic
Thank you Vic Stefanu for sharing the Vanuatu central market port villa. This year we are planning to travel to south pacific
Islands, therefore, watching your World Travels Adventures will give us some idea of where to go for eating and sight seeing!
I am incredibly inspired!
Another excellent video – great to see places like a market which really gives you a feel of the place. I believe Vanuatu was known as New Hebrides when I was much younger.

Hi We live in Port Vila , they were oranges not grapefruit and what you called lettuce was
Chinese cabbage . We only get what is in season throughout the year as the seasons change. If you would have asked the ladies in the stalls you would have got the info right. Good video but bad research.
I really enjoy your knowledgeable commentary…it is obvious that you do thorough preparation for each visit…have you given any thought to adding commentary to many earlier videos which only have background sound..
@VicStefanu…this non traveler would like to ask a world class traveler/historian/videographer a question. Would you advise travelers to convert to local currency Use credit/debit card? Quickly, I am not sophisticated enough to make a conversion off the top.
if I make my company kava beer I will go to Vanuatu and see all my mate's .
Made me hungry!!I would love to have such a market near me.
