The Northwest pear trade has crammed one of many management positions vacated by the outgoing Kevin Moffitt, longtime president and CEO of Pear Bureau Northwest.
Jeff Correa has been named supervisor of the Recent Pear Committee, which units and collects assessments for analysis and promotions underneath a federal advertising and marketing order for pears grown in Washington and Oregon.
Correa additionally will preserve his job as worldwide advertising and marketing director for Pear Bureau Northwest, which collectively promotes contemporary pears underneath the model USA Pears.
Moffitt will resign because the committee supervisor and his job as president and CEO of Pear Bureau Northwest on July 1. He’ll proceed to serve in a mentoring position for trade teams.
A brand new CEO has been employed, and the pear bureau plans an announcement in mid-July, stated Jim Morris, a spokesman for the group.
